Does Acai Fruit Cure Cancer? – Caution! Learn The Truth About Acai Instantly
Who else wants to know if acai berry cures cancer? If you are anything like the vast majority of people who read our articles, the simple truth is that you may be wondering just that! Why? Because of the incredible preponderance of outrageous claims and hyperbolic advertising being run by many unscrupulous promoters, that’s why. The simple truth is that there are some of us who’ve been singing the praises of acai berry as an incredible and life transforming “miracle fruit” for years, but some of the more recent claims are simply over the top.
So where did all of this acai berry and cancer cure conversation come from anyway?
First of all, you have to understand that scientists have believed that many free radical fighting, anti oxidant compounds found in fruit and vegetables could possibly stave off the effects of cancer for quite some time. Of course this is only theory, but we all know that our parents have told us to eat our “carrots and beans” since we were little kids, and the more science evolves, the more we realize how good advice this truly was. Over the last decade or so, it’s been widely reported, (and pretty well accepted) that dark berries like black, blue and even strawberries, cherries and pomegranate were amongst the forefront of foods that MAY one day be able to protect us from disease.
The Acai Berry, for all of it’s amazing health benefits, also has anywhere from 10-30 times the antioxidant value of all the super foods above, and is believed to be responsible in part for the good health of the people who pick and eat is regularly in the Amazon.
But what about cancer?
The university of Florida did a study several years ago that showed Acai destroyed up to 85% of cancer cells in a test tube. Is this exciting? Absolutely, yes! But they were also careful to not make any outrageous claims as a result of the tests, only that they were promising. What happened next? Of course, you can guess, right? Manipulative marketers everywhere, took that little bit of good news and turned it into an avalanche of opportunity, making claims that were NOT credible, but also, in my view, pretty unethical to boot!
Bonus Tip: Beware of the Acai Berry Scams! Unfortunately, many of the acai berry products on the market are scams, being sold by unscrupulous companies with one hand in your pocket, rather than out to help you heal. My best advice? If you really want to experience the amazing benefits of the berry, make sure you ONLY buy
authentic acai berry juice or extract.
